Introduction
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website. By using our website, you accept these Terms in full. If you disagree with these Terms or any part of these Terms, you must not use our website.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website.
If you become an Installer you will be asked to agree to our installer terms and conditions in addition to this document.
Service
We believe in providing a valuable service to both our users and our installers, and we strive to ensure a fair and ethical relationship between all parties involved.
Solar-Sherpa does not charge you a fee to use the website.
Solar-Sherpa provides a service with the aim of providing information and marketing about solar cells, solar installations, and related products, as well as facilitating contact with suppliers of solar installations.
Users may submit a quotation request to the website by completing and submitting “Get your Quote” form on the website. Users may make an additional request by submitting the form again.
Our technology will forward your information to one or two partner installers from our database who may contact you regarding your request for services or products. You may contact the installer directly if you have any questions about a sent request.
You agree that if you submit a request through the website, we will share your personal information with participating installers in our network to process and fulfill your request.
Solar-Sherpa will pass such details on with the aim of obtaining not more than 2 quotations for the User. However, we may be unable to find any suitable installers to quote and we do not guarantee that any quotations will be received.
Solar-Sherpa is not a solar installer or manufacturer in connection with the service.
We are not acting as your agent or broker. Based on your request, we can recommend a particular installer to you. The website is not intended as an offer, or as the basis for any purchase of services/products.
Solar-Sherpa and Installer
We charge a fee to the installer when we mediate a quote to sustain the development and maintenance of our website.
Solar-Sherpa is not affiliated with any of the installers. Participating installers are independent third parties.
Trademarks, service marks, logos, or domain names are the property of their respective owners, who have no association with the services provided by this website.
User and Installer
Your correspondence or dealings with any installer as a result of your use of this website are solely between you and such installer. We are not a party to any agreement that you may make with any participating installer.
The participating installer(s) with whom you contract to assist you is solely responsible for its services to you. Solar-Sherpa shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings.
Content
You grant to us a worldwide, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, store, adapt, publish, translate, transmit and distribute your Content in any existing or future media.
You warrant and represent that your content will comply with these Terms.
We may edit or remove the publication of any material submitted to our website.
The website may display content, promotions, advertisements, and offers provided by third parties ("Third Party Promotions").
